It has probably been a very long year for you and the rest of the 42 ID - Rainbow Division. For those of us here at home, your efforts remind us of what is so wonderful about our freedom and the exceptional sacrifice that each of you has made to bring that to others around the world.

You have done a great job as part of Task Force Liberty. There is no doubt, that the Iraqi people will remember your contribution to their country.

We also remember your fallen comrades who didn't come home. For their families we say a special prayer this holiday season.
